About

Legend gives the dighi to a Tripura king's daughter (raja-jhi, the king's daughter), which is where the name comes from; its date is unknown. What is certain is that when the British made Feni a subdivision in 1875 they built around this water, and the town has kept it as its centre since. A paved walk circles it, and the mosque on the west bank is the town's main one.

Getting there: Walk from the station or Trunk Road.

Things to do

  • Walk the circuit and sit by the court mosque.
