Bhoboghure (ভবঘুরে) is a travel app for Bangladesh. This policy explains what the app and this website collect, why, who else handles it, and how you can see or delete it. In short: we collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and we don't track you for advertising.
Using the app without an account
You can use the map and guides without signing up. Your visited and want-to-go districts, settings and downloaded guides then stay on your phone only. So do a few things the app remembers to suggest places (your home district if you set one, and which places you've already been shown), and your recent searches.
What we collect when you create an account
How you sign in. With email: your email address and password; the password is stored only as a secure hash, and we email you a link to confirm your address or reset your password. With Apple or Google: the email address they share with us (with Apple this can be a private relay address), the name they share, if any, and an account identifier from them; we never see your Apple or Google password. You can connect Apple or Google to an existing account, or disconnect them, in Settings → Sign-in methods. If you tick "Remember my email", the email is kept on your phone only, never the password.
Your profile: a handle, an optional display name, an optional profile photo, who can see your map (public, friends or private) and whether your badges show to others. Your profile photo is shown wherever you appear in the app, to anyone who can find you.
Your districts and places: which ones you marked visited or want to go, and when, so your map follows you to a new phone.
Who you follow and who follows you, and the people you block.
Your memories: photos you add to a place you've visited, with a caption, the day and who may see them. Before a photo leaves your phone the app shrinks it and removes its metadata, including where it was taken. To mark a memory "Taken here", the app compares a photo's location, or your phone's location when you tap Check in, with the place, on your phone; only the result is saved, never the location. The app asks to use your location only when you tap Check in, or "Use my location" on Explore. On Explore your location sorts places by how near they are, on your phone; it is never sent or saved.
Activity with friends: memories and finished trips you post to your friends' feed, likes, "I've been here too", comments, the people you @mention, and short trip moments ("visited Sylhet and 2 more districts", which you can turn off in your profile).
Trips: the trips you plan or join, with their name, dates (and the dates people suggest and vote for), places, stops of your own with their times and how you get there, where you stay each night, notes, hearts, comments on stops, the shared checklist, an optional budget and who is on each one. Anyone you give a trip's invite code can join it and change the plan. If you record what a trip cost, we keep each expense (what it was for, the amount, who paid and who shares it, the day) and payments made to settle up; only the people on the trip see them, never friends or visitors to a shared link. Trip reminders (the evening before a trip and the morning after) are set on your phone and send nothing to us. "Add to calendar" opens your phone's own calendar with the trip's dates; we never read your calendar or contacts, and what you save there stays on your phone.
Reports: if you report a memory or a comment, the report and what you write are kept with your account as a support request. The person isn't told who reported it.
Support requests: what you write to us in the app (including suggested corrections to a place or guide) and our replies, kept with your account so we can answer you.
If you allow notifications: a push token for your device, its platform (Android or iOS) and your app language, so we can tell you when someone follows you, comments on or likes your memory or a trip you posted, joins a trip you organise, or when support replies. You can turn each kind off in Settings → Notifications.
What friends and others can see
Signed-in users can find you by handle or name unless your map is private. Your map is shown to everyone if public, only to people you follow back if friends-only, and to no one if private. A private profile can't be found or followed.
Memories are only yours unless you share them. Likes, comments and "I've been here too" are seen by you, the memory's owner and their friends who can see that memory. Friends means people you follow who follow you back; everyone means anyone who can see your map. A memory is never shared more widely than your profile allows. People who have blocked each other can't find each other or see each other's map, places or memories.
A trip is seen only by the people on it, unless its organiser shares it with friends (who can then see the plan and that you're going) or by link. Anyone with a trip's link can open it, on this website too and without the app: it shows the trip's name, dates, places, stops and notes, the organiser's name and how many people are going. When you post a finished trip to your friends' feed, whoever can see the post can open that trip's plan (its places, stops, stays and notes, read-only) and copy it. Comments on stops, the date vote and expenses are only ever seen by the people on the trip.
Diagnostics and usage
We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports (what went wrong, device model, OS version) so we can fix bugs, and Firebase Analytics to count which screens are opened and to note searches in Explore that find nothing (only the words you searched for), so we know what to improve and which places to add next. These come with an app-instance identifier, not your name or email. We don't use them for advertising and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Who handles your data
Supabase stores accounts, profiles, districts, follows, blocks, memories, trips and push tokens. Memory photos are kept in private storage on Cloudflare R2, where only the people a memory is shared with can open them, through links that expire within an hour; profile and cover photos are public there, as they are in the app. Google Firebase delivers notifications and processes crash reports and analytics. Apple and Google confirm who you are when you sign in with them. The map data, guides and place photos download from our storage on Cloudflare (cdn.bhoboghure.com), which sees your device's IP address like any website you visit. Cloudflare also runs our domain's DNS and forwards email sent to support@bhoboghure.com. Photos are copies of Wikimedia Commons files or our own, each credited in the app. This website is hosted on Vercel. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
We don't sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Me → Settings → your profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and every way you sign in, your profile and profile photo, districts, places, memories and their photos, comments and likes, follows in both directions, blocks, the trips you organise (you leave the others) and push tokens from our servers straight away, and clears your map from the phone. You can also email us to ask for deletion. Crash and analytics records are kept by Firebase for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can change who sees your map, badges and each memory at any time, edit or delete any memory, turn notifications off in the app or your phone's settings, and ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Reporting and blocking
You can report any memory you think breaks our terms, and block anyone. We review every report, remove memories that break the rules, and may suspend accounts that do.
Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Database rules make sure only you can change your data, and others see your map only as your visibility setting allows.
Children
Bhoboghure isn't made for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has made an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and its date first, and tell you in the app for anything significant.
ভবঘুরে বাংলাদেশ ভ্রমণের একটি অ্যাপ। এই নীতিতে বলা হয়েছে, অ্যাপ ও এই ওয়েবসাইট কোন তথ্য সংগ্রহ করে, কেন করে, কারা সেই তথ্য নিয়ে কাজ করে এবং আপনি কীভাবে তা দেখতে বা মুছে ফেলতে পারেন। সংক্ষেপে: আমরা যতটা সম্ভব কম তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি, কখনো তা বিক্রি করি না এবং বিজ্ঞাপনের উদ্দেশ্যে আপনাকে ট্র্যাক করি না।
অ্যাকাউন্ট ছাড়া অ্যাপ ব্যবহার
সাইন আপ না করেও আপনি ম্যাপ ও গাইড ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। সে ক্ষেত্রে আপনার ভ্রমণ করা ও যেতে চাওয়া জেলা, সেটিংস এবং ডাউনলোড করা গাইড কেবল আপনার ফোনেই থাকে। জায়গা সাজেস্ট করার জন্য অ্যাপ যে কয়েকটি তথ্য মনে রাখে (আপনি দিলে আপনার নিজ জেলা, এবং কোন জায়গাগুলো আপনাকে আগে দেখানো হয়েছে) আর আপনার সাম্প্রতিক খোঁজগুলোও কেবল ফোনেই থাকে।
অ্যাকাউন্ট খুললে আমরা যা সংগ্রহ করি
আপনি কীভাবে সাইন ইন করেন। ইমেইলে করলে: আপনার ইমেইল ঠিকানা ও পাসওয়ার্ড; পাসওয়ার্ড কেবল নিরাপদ হ্যাশ আকারে সংরক্ষণ করা হয়, এবং ঠিকানা নিশ্চিত করতে বা পাসওয়ার্ড বদলাতে আমরা আপনাকে একটি লিংক ইমেইল করি। Apple বা Google দিয়ে করলে: তারা আমাদের যে ইমেইল ঠিকানা দেয় (Apple-এর ক্ষেত্রে এটি একটি প্রাইভেট রিলে ঠিকানাও হতে পারে), তারা কোনো নাম দিলে সেটি, এবং তাদের দেওয়া একটি অ্যাকাউন্ট আইডি; আপনার Apple বা Google পাসওয়ার্ড আমরা কখনো দেখি না। সেটিংস → সাইন ইনের উপায় থেকে আগের অ্যাকাউন্টে Apple বা Google যুক্ত বা বিচ্ছিন্ন করতে পারেন। "ইমেইল মনে রাখুন" টিক দিলে ইমেইলটি কেবল আপনার ফোনে রাখা হয়, পাসওয়ার্ড কখনো নয়।
আপনার প্রোফাইল: একটি হ্যান্ডেল, চাইলে একটি নাম ও প্রোফাইল ছবি, আপনার ম্যাপ কারা দেখতে পাবেন (সবাই, বন্ধুরা, নাকি শুধু আপনি) এবং আপনার ব্যাজ অন্যরা দেখতে পাবেন কি না। যাঁরা আপনাকে খুঁজে পান, অ্যাপে আপনি যেখানেই আছেন সেখানে তাঁরা আপনার প্রোফাইল ছবি দেখতে পান।
আপনার জেলা ও জায়গাগুলো: কোনগুলো ভ্রমণ করা বা যেতে চাওয়া হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করেছেন এবং কবে, যাতে নতুন ফোনেও আপনি ম্যাপটি পান।
আপনি কাদের ফলো করেন, কারা আপনাকে ফলো করেন এবং আপনি কাদের ব্লক করেছেন।
আপনার স্মৃতি: ভ্রমণ করা কোনো জায়গায় আপনি যে ছবি যোগ করেন, সঙ্গে ক্যাপশন, তারিখ এবং কারা দেখতে পাবেন। ছবি ফোন থেকে পাঠানোর আগে অ্যাপ সেটিকে ছোট করে এবং এর মেটাডেটা, ছবিটি কোথায় তোলা সেই তথ্যসহ, মুছে দেয়। কোনো স্মৃতিকে "এখানেই তোলা" দেখাতে অ্যাপ ছবির অবস্থান, অথবা "চেক ইন" চাপলে আপনার ফোনের অবস্থান, জায়গাটির সঙ্গে আপনার ফোনেই মিলিয়ে দেখে; শুধু ফলাফলটি সংরক্ষণ হয়, অবস্থান কখনো নয়। "চেক ইন" অথবা এক্সপ্লোরে "আমার অবস্থান ব্যবহার করুন" চাপলেই কেবল অ্যাপ আপনার অবস্থান ব্যবহারের অনুমতি চায়। এক্সপ্লোরে আপনার অবস্থান দিয়ে আপনার ফোনেই জায়গাগুলো কাছ থেকে দূরে সাজানো হয়; অবস্থান কোথাও পাঠানো বা সংরক্ষণ করা হয় না।
বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে কার্যক্রম: বন্ধুদের ফিডে পোস্ট করা স্মৃতি ও শেষ হওয়া ভ্রমণ, লাইক, "আমিও গিয়েছি", মন্তব্য, যাঁদের আপনি @মেনশন করেন, এবং ছোট ভ্রমণ-মুহূর্ত ("সিলেটসহ আরও ২টি জেলায় গেছেন"; প্রোফাইল থেকে এটি বন্ধ করা যায়)।
ভ্রমণ: আপনার পরিকল্পনা করা বা যোগ দেওয়া ভ্রমণ, অর্থাৎ এর নাম, তারিখ (এবং প্রস্তাব করা ও ভোট পাওয়া তারিখ), জায়গা, নিজের যোগ করা থামার জায়গা ও সেগুলোর সময় এবং কীভাবে যাবেন, প্রতি রাতে কোথায় থাকবেন, নোট, পছন্দের চিহ্ন, থামার জায়গা নিয়ে মন্তব্য, যৌথ চেকলিস্ট, ঐচ্ছিক বাজেট এবং কারা কারা ভ্রমণে আছেন। যাঁকে আপনি ভ্রমণের আমন্ত্রণ কোড দেবেন, তিনি যোগ দিয়ে পরিকল্পনা বদলাতে পারবেন। ভ্রমণের খরচ লিখে রাখলে আমরা প্রতিটি খরচ (কিসের জন্য, পরিমাণ, কে দিয়েছেন, কাদের মধ্যে ভাগ হবে, কোন দিন) আর হিসাব মেটাতে দেওয়া টাকার তথ্য রাখি; এগুলো শুধু ভ্রমণের সদস্যরাই দেখতে পান, বন্ধুরা বা শেয়ার করা লিংকে আসা কেউ নন। ভ্রমণের রিমাইন্ডার (ভ্রমণের আগের সন্ধ্যায় ও পরের সকালে) আপনার ফোনেই সেট হয়, আমাদের কাছে কিছু পাঠায় না। "ক্যালেন্ডারে যোগ করুন" চাপলে ভ্রমণের তারিখসহ আপনার ফোনের নিজস্ব ক্যালেন্ডার খোলে; আমরা কখনো আপনার ক্যালেন্ডার বা কন্টাক্ট পড়ি না, আর সেখানে যা সংরক্ষণ করেন তা আপনার ফোনেই থাকে।
রিপোর্ট: আপনি কোনো স্মৃতি বা মন্তব্য রিপোর্ট করলে রিপোর্টটি ও আপনার লেখা সহায়তার অনুরোধ হিসেবে আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে রাখা হয়। কে রিপোর্ট করেছেন, তা সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তিকে জানানো হয় না।
সহায়তার অনুরোধ: অ্যাপে আপনি আমাদের যা লেখেন (কোনো জায়গা বা গাইডের সংশোধনের প্রস্তাবসহ) এবং আমাদের উত্তর, আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে রাখা হয়, যাতে আমরা আপনাকে উত্তর দিতে পারি।
নোটিফিকেশন চালু করলে: আপনার ডিভাইসের একটি পুশ টোকেন, প্ল্যাটফর্ম (অ্যান্ড্রয়েড বা আইওএস) এবং অ্যাপের ভাষা, যাতে কেউ আপনাকে ফলো করলে, আপনার স্মৃতিতে বা পোস্ট করা ভ্রমণে মন্তব্য বা লাইক দিলে, আপনার আয়োজন করা ভ্রমণে কেউ যোগ দিলে, অথবা সহায়তা দল উত্তর দিলে আমরা আপনাকে জানাতে পারি। সেটিংস → নোটিফিকেশন থেকে প্রতিটি আলাদাভাবে বন্ধ করা যায়।
বন্ধুরা ও অন্যরা কী দেখতে পান
আপনার ম্যাপ প্রাইভেট না হলে সাইন ইন করা অন্য ব্যবহারকারীরা হ্যান্ডেল বা নাম দিয়ে আপনাকে খুঁজে পাবেন। পাবলিক হলে ম্যাপটি সবাই দেখতে পান, ফ্রেন্ডস হলে কেবল তাঁরাই, যাঁদের আপনিও ফলো করেন, আর প্রাইভেট হলে কেউই নন। প্রাইভেট প্রোফাইল খোঁজা বা ফলো করা যায় না।
আপনি শেয়ার না করলে স্মৃতি শুধু আপনার। লাইক, মন্তব্য ও "আমিও গিয়েছি" দেখতে পান আপনি, স্মৃতিটির মালিক এবং তাঁর সেই বন্ধুরা, যাঁরা স্মৃতিটি দেখতে পান। "বন্ধুরা" মানে যাঁদের আপনি ফলো করেন এবং যাঁরা আপনাকেও ফলো করেন; "সবাই" মানে যাঁরা আপনার ম্যাপ দেখতে পান। কোনো স্মৃতি আপনার প্রোফাইলের অনুমতির চেয়ে বেশি মানুষের সঙ্গে শেয়ার হয় না। যাঁরা একে অপরকে ব্লক করেছেন, তাঁরা পরস্পরকে খুঁজে পান না এবং একে অপরের ম্যাপ, জায়গা বা স্মৃতি দেখতে পান না।
কোনো ভ্রমণ শুধু এর সদস্যরাই দেখতে পান, যদি না আয়োজক এটি বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে (তাঁরা তখন পরিকল্পনাটি এবং আপনি যে যাচ্ছেন তা দেখতে পাবেন) বা লিংকের মাধ্যমে শেয়ার করেন। ভ্রমণের লিংক যাঁর কাছে আছে, তিনি এটি খুলতে পারবেন, এই ওয়েবসাইটেও এবং অ্যাপ ছাড়াই: সেখানে ভ্রমণের নাম, তারিখ, জায়গা, থামার জায়গা ও নোট, আয়োজকের নাম এবং কতজন যাচ্ছেন তা দেখা যায়। শেষ হওয়া কোনো ভ্রমণ বন্ধুদের ফিডে পোস্ট করলে পোস্টটি যাঁরা দেখতে পান, তাঁরা সেই ভ্রমণের পরিকল্পনা (জায়গা, থামার জায়গা, থাকার জায়গা ও নোট, শুধু দেখার জন্য) খুলতে ও কপি করতে পারবেন। থামার জায়গা নিয়ে মন্তব্য, তারিখের ভোট এবং খরচ শুধু ভ্রমণের সদস্যরাই দেখতে পান।
ডায়াগনস্টিকস ও ব্যবহার
ত্রুটি সারানোর জন্য আমরা Firebase Crashlytics-এর মাধ্যমে ক্র্যাশ রিপোর্ট পাই (কী সমস্যা হয়েছে, ডিভাইসের মডেল, ওএস ভার্সন), এবং কোন স্ক্রিন কতবার খোলা হয় তা গোনার জন্য ও এক্সপ্লোরে কোন খোঁজে কিছু পাওয়া যায়নি তা জানার জন্য (শুধু আপনার লেখা খোঁজার শব্দগুলো) Firebase Analytics ব্যবহার করি, যাতে বুঝতে পারি কোথায় উন্নতি দরকার এবং এরপর কোন জায়গাগুলো যোগ করা উচিত। এসব তথ্যের সঙ্গে একটি অ্যাপ-ইনস্ট্যান্স আইডি থাকে, আপনার নাম বা ইমেইল নয়। আমরা এগুলো বিজ্ঞাপনে ব্যবহার করি না এবং অন্য কোনো অ্যাপ বা ওয়েবসাইটেও আপনাকে ট্র্যাক করি না।
আপনার তথ্য কারা পরিচালনা করে
Supabase আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট, প্রোফাইল, জেলা, ফলো, ব্লক, স্মৃতি, ভ্রমণ ও পুশ টোকেন সংরক্ষণ করে। স্মৃতির ছবিগুলো Cloudflare R2-এর প্রাইভেট স্টোরেজে থাকে; স্মৃতিটি যাঁদের সঙ্গে শেয়ার করা, কেবল তাঁরাই এক ঘণ্টার মধ্যে মেয়াদ শেষ হওয়া লিংকের মাধ্যমে ছবিগুলো খুলতে পারেন। প্রোফাইল ও কভার ছবি সেখানে উন্মুক্ত থাকে, যেমনটা অ্যাপেও দেখা যায়। Google Firebase নোটিফিকেশন পাঠায় এবং ক্র্যাশ রিপোর্ট ও অ্যানালিটিক্স পরিচালনা করে। Apple বা Google দিয়ে সাইন ইন করলে তারা আপনার পরিচয় নিশ্চিত করে। ম্যাপের তথ্য, গাইড ও জায়গার ছবি Cloudflare-এ থাকা আমাদের স্টোরেজ (cdn.bhoboghure.com) থেকে ডাউনলোড হয়; অন্য যেকোনো ওয়েবসাইটের মতোই তারা আপনার ডিভাইসের আইপি অ্যাড্রেস দেখতে পায়। আমাদের ডোমেইনের DNS পরিচালনা এবং support@bhoboghure.com-এ পাঠানো ইমেইল ফরোয়ার্ড করার কাজও Cloudflare করে। ছবিগুলো Wikimedia Commons-এর ফাইলের অনুলিপি অথবা আমাদের নিজেদের তোলা, এবং প্রতিটির কৃতিত্ব অ্যাপে উল্লেখ করা আছে। এই ওয়েবসাইট Vercel-এ চলে। এদের প্রত্যেকে কেবল আমাদের সেবা দেওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যেই তথ্য ব্যবহার করে।
আইনগতভাবে বাধ্য না হলে আমরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য কারও কাছে বিক্রি, ভাড়া বা শেয়ার করি না।
অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলা
অ্যাপে যান আমি → সেটিংস → আপনার প্রোফাইল → অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন। এতে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে আমাদের সার্ভার থেকে আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট ও সাইন ইনের সব উপায়, প্রোফাইল ও প্রোফাইল ছবি, জেলা, জায়গা, স্মৃতি ও সেগুলোর ছবি, মন্তব্য ও লাইক, উভয় দিকের ফলো, ব্লক, আপনার আয়োজন করা ভ্রমণ (অন্যদের ভ্রমণ থেকে আপনি বেরিয়ে যান) এবং পুশ টোকেন স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে যায়, আর আপনার ফোন থেকেও ম্যাপটি মুছে যায়। চাইলে ইমেইল করেও অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে দেওয়ার অনুরোধ জানাতে পারেন। ক্র্যাশ ও অ্যানালিটিক্সের রেকর্ড Firebase কিছু সময় সংরক্ষণ করে, তারপর সেগুলো স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে মুছে যায়।
আপনার নিয়ন্ত্রণে যা আছে
আপনার ম্যাপ, ব্যাজ ও প্রতিটি স্মৃতি কারা দেখবেন, তা যেকোনো সময় বদলাতে পারেন; যেকোনো স্মৃতি সম্পাদনা করতে বা মুছে ফেলতে পারেন; অ্যাপ বা ফোনের সেটিংস থেকে নোটিফিকেশন বন্ধ করতে পারেন; এবং আমাদের কাছে আপনার তথ্যের অনুলিপি চাইতে বা তা সংশোধনের অনুরোধ করতে পারেন।
রিপোর্ট ও ব্লক
আমাদের শর্ত ভাঙছে মনে হলে যেকোনো স্মৃতি রিপোর্ট করতে পারেন, এবং যে কাউকে ব্লক করতে পারেন। আমরা প্রতিটি রিপোর্ট দেখি, নিয়ম ভাঙা স্মৃতি সরিয়ে দিই এবং এমন অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থগিত করতে পারি।
নিরাপত্তা
সব যোগাযোগ এনক্রিপ্টেড (HTTPS)। ডেটাবেসের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী আপনার তথ্য কেবল আপনিই বদলাতে পারেন, আর অন্যরা আপনার ম্যাপের ঠিক ততটুকুই দেখতে পান, যতটুকু আপনি অনুমতি দিয়েছেন।
শিশু
ভবঘুরে ১৩ বছরের কম বয়সীদের জন্য তৈরি নয়, এবং আমরা জেনেশুনে তাদের তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি না। কোনো শিশু অ্যাকাউন্ট খুলেছে বলে মনে হলে আমাদের ইমেইল করুন, আমরা তা মুছে দেব।
এই নীতিতে পরিবর্তন
আমরা কোন তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি, তাতে কোনো পরিবর্তন এলে আগে এই পেজ ও তারিখ হালনাগাদ করব, এবং বড় কোনো পরিবর্তন হলে অ্যাপেও জানাব।
