About

The mosque stands at Chand Gazi village north of Chhagalnaiya bazar, a small oblong of brick with three domes and corner towers, its front still carrying terracotta panels, and an inscription dating it to the reign of Farrukhsiyar. The Archaeology Department restored it; it is used by the village. The builder's family were the Bhuiyans who held the land here under the Mughals.

Getting there: CNG from Feni to Chhagalnaiya (20 minutes), then a rickshaw north to Chand Gazi.
