About
The bridge links Dhaka with about twenty-one districts of the south and west that used to depend on ferries. It is a two-level structure: the road on top, the railway below.
You can cross it by bus or car (there is a toll), and the best views are from the Mawa riverside and from the boats near the ghat. Stopping on the bridge is not allowed.
Getting there: At Mawa, about an hour from Dhaka on the expressway.

- Take a boat from Mawa for the view under the spans.

- Do not stop or take photos from a vehicle on the bridge; it is forbidden.
