About

The mosque is dated to the Bengal Sultanate, either to the reign of Ghiyasuddin Azam Shah around 1400 or to about a century later; historians differ. It takes its other name from the saint Majlis Aulia Khan, whose grave lies to the south.

The great dighi beside it was dug, the story goes, to give the people drinking water. The mosque is still in use.

Getting there: Bus to Bhanga, then CNG east towards Polia; the mosque is a few kilometres south of the road.
