About
The estate was founded by the salt merchant Uddhab Chandra Saha, who bought land here and later in Barishal. Locally it is also called Rajendra Babu's house.
Several old buildings, temples and ponds remain, many in poor repair. Go for the faded façades and the quiet village setting.
Getting there: Bus or CNG from Faridpur town to Sadarpur, then an easy-bike to Baishrashi.
Things to do
- Walk round the old buildings and ponds.
Good to know
- Keep clear of damaged walls, and ask before entering lived-in parts.
