About
Jagadish Chandra Bose (1858–1937), a pioneer of radio and microwave research and of plant physiology, came from a family of Rarikhal in Bikrampur. The ancestral home is now a memorial with photographs, copies of his papers and models of his instruments, set in a garden with ponds.
It makes an easy stop on the way to or from Mawa.
Getting there: Bus on the Mawa expressway to Sreenagar, then an auto to Rarikhal.
