About
Mirza Safsi Khan, made faujdar of Jashore in 1649, lived where the Kapotaksha meets the Buribhadra, and the place took his name. A later faujdar, Nurullah Khan, built a fortified house here under Aurangzeb; of it, only the bath house still stands.
The brick building has domed rooms, a well and channels that once carried hot and cold water. It is a protected monument in quiet village surroundings.
Getting there: From Keshabpur, about 7 km west by CNG or easy-bike.
Things to do
- Look at the water channels and the well inside.
Good to know
- Go on the same day as Sagardari.
