About

A winding paved road runs through the garden, about two kilometres in from the Dhaka–Sylhet highway and Teliapara railway station. On 4 April 1971 Bengali officers met at the manager's bungalow here and planned the armed resistance; the garden later served as the headquarters of Sector 3.

A memorial in the garden marks the meeting. Walk among the tea bushes in the morning and visit the memorial on the way.

Getting there: Off the Dhaka–Sylhet highway near Teliapara station, Madhabpur.
