About
The forest stands south of the Kharti river in a wide haor, its trees half under water for months of the year. It is also a refuge for birds.
In the wet season you glide between the trunks in a small boat; in the dry months the water drains and the forest floor can be walked.
Getting there: From Habiganj to Baniachong by road, then by boat across the haor.
Things to do
- Take a small boat through the flooded trees.
Good to know
- Hire the boat with a local who knows the way; carry a life jacket.
