About
Before the road, these upazilas were reached only by boat for much of the year. The raised road now links them and has become a sight in itself, with open water or fields stretching to the horizon.
Most people come by CNG or motorbike, stop on the bridges for the view and eat haor fish in the bazars.
Getting there: From Kishoreganj town by road towards Karimganj and Chamraghat, then on to Itna and Mithamoin.
Things to do
- Ride the road in the monsoon when water reaches both sides.
Good to know
- Do not stop on the narrow carriageway; pull in at bridges or bazars.
