About
In the rains the low land around Satla floods and the shapla, the national flower, opens across the water. The flowers are fullest early in the morning and close as the day heats up.
Local boatmen take visitors out between the flowers. Villagers also harvest the stems to sell, so please do not pick them yourself.
Getting there: By car or CNG from the city via Wazirpur, roughly one and a half to two hours.
Things to do
- Be on the water by sunrise.
Good to know
- Leave the city before dawn; the flowers close by late morning.
