About
Gorkui is one of the district's older Hindu sites, with small temples dedicated to Shiva inside a walled compound. Local worshippers come throughout the year, and in greater numbers on festival days.
It is a modest place. Visit respectfully, ask before photographing inside, and leave shoes at the entrance.
Getting there: By bus and auto from Thakurgaon town; ask for Gorkui mandir.
