About

Families come for shade, a picnic and the animals: deer, birds and a few larger animals in enclosures. The park has sculptures, a lake and children's rides, and gets busy on Fridays and holidays.

It sits close to the riverfront, so it pairs easily with an evening by the Padma.

Getting there: Rickshaw from the city centre, a few minutes.

Things to do

  • Come with children in the morning, then walk to the river.

Good to know

  • Weekday mornings are calmest.
