About
The mosque has two rows of five bays under domes, rebuilt after the original roof fell; its walls and mihrabs carry dense terracotta of flowers and vines. Around it are the tombs of the local saint family, a graveyard and a broad pond.
Bagha is a small town near the Padma; the mosque is its centre, and on Fridays and at Eid it is crowded.
Getting there: Bus or CNG from Rajshahi to Bagha, about 40 km, then a short walk.
Things to do
- Look closely at the terracotta around the mihrabs.
Good to know
- Avoid Friday midday prayers if you want to look inside.
