About
Kadam Rasul means the footprint of the Prophet. Tradition says Masum Khan Kabuli, a chief allied with Isa Khan, acquired the stone in the late 1500s, and a shrine was later built over it on a rise above the river.
It draws pilgrims year round. Visit with respect; it is a place of devotion, not a monument.
Getting there: Boat across the Shitalakshya from Narayanganj town, then a rickshaw.
Things to do
- Combine with Sonakanda fort on the same side of the river.
Good to know
- Remove shoes where asked and dress modestly.
