About

The dighi is about 22 acres and the largest in the district, and it comes with the usual stories of a bride's palanquin lost in its water. For visitors it is the quiet half of the Dalal Bazar visit: a walk along the banks under old trees, the rajbari on one side, fishermen on the far bank, and the mist that gave it its name if you come early in a cold month.

Getting there: Beside Dalal Bazar Zamindar Bari.

Things to do

  • Come at dawn in December for the mist.
