About

Pramodaranjan Bakshi's sons became a judge and an engineer, and the family left after Partition. The buildings have been neglected since, but the main block, outbuildings and ponds still give a sense of a country estate of the time.

Getting there: From Kurigram town over the Dharla to Phulbari by bus or CNG, then on to Naodanga.

Things to do

  • Walk round the main block and the old ponds.

Good to know

  • The structure is fragile; stay out of damaged rooms.
