About
There is no inscription, so the date rests on style: the decoration mixes Sultanate and Mughal features. The mosque is about 40 feet long and stands with old graves on its plot in Mondalpara, about 4 km south-west of the upazila town.
It is still used for prayers by the village; visit outside prayer times.
Getting there: From Kurigram to Rajarhat by bus, then a CNG or auto about 4 km to Chandamari.
Things to do
- Look closely at the plaster work around the doors and domes.
Good to know
- Dress modestly; women should cover their heads.
