About

The long jetty on the east side is where every tourist ship lands and leaves. The village lies close behind it, and fishing boats anchor in the shallow water on either side.

On a day trip this is where you need to be back in good time: ships leave by the tide, last season between about 3 and 6 pm, and they do not wait.
