About
Sariakandi upazila lies on the west bank of the Jamuna, one of the great rivers of the delta. The embankment and riverside give long views across the water to sandbanks and char villages.
A boat out to a char is the way to see it; agree the fare and the return time first. In the monsoon the river is high and strong.
Getting there: Bus or CNG east from Bogura town to Sariakandi, about an hour.
