About
The house was built by the zamindar Raj Chandra Roy. His son Piyari Lal Roy was a well-known barrister, and Piyari Lal's sons were the fighter pilot Indra Lal Roy and the boxer Paresh Lal Roy.
What stands today is a two-storey building with arched verandas, a temple and a tank in the grounds, much of it overgrown. Walk round it from outside; parts are unsafe.
Getting there: About 8 km from the city by auto or CNG.
Things to do
- See the temple and tank behind the house.
Good to know
- Do not climb inside; the floors are weak.
