The hilltop shrine of Shah Paran, Shah Jalal's nephew and companion, on the eastern edge of the city: the second great place of pilgrimage in Sylhet.

About
Shah Paran came to Sylhet with his uncle's company and settled outside the town. His grave sits at the top of a flight of steps on a small hill, with a mosque and gateway below, quieter and greener than the dargah in the centre.
Many pilgrims visit both shrines on the same day; the usual order is Shah Jalal first.
Getting there: About half an hour from the city centre by CNG, on the road east.

- Climb the steps to the grave on the hill.
