About
Dibi, Iyam, Horofkata and Kendri beels together cover about 900 acres, and the red lilies grow there wild. After the rains the water fills with flowers that open in the early morning and close as the sun climbs.
Small boats take you out among them, with the border hills behind. Migratory birds come in winter.
Getting there: About 1.5 hours from the city on the Tamabil road via Jaintiapur.
Things to do
- Be on the water by sunrise, when the lilies are open.
Good to know
- Do not pick the flowers.
