About
In the rains water stretches to the horizon on both sides of the Naldanga road, waves lap at the embankment and boats carry visitors to the villages on their mounds. Locals call it a little sea, and on holidays the road fills with people and food stalls.
In the dry season the beel becomes fields of rice and jute, pleasant but very different.
Getting there: Auto-rickshaw from Natore town towards Naldanga, about half an hour.
Things to do
- Take a boat at sunset from the road across the beel.
Good to know
- Do not swim where the water is deep or the current pulls.
