A ruined zamindar house at Muraridaha on the north bank of the Nabaganga, about three kilometres from Jhenaidah town.

- About 3 km
About
The house is known for the verse cut over its main gate, which names Muraridaha, the Nabaganga and a lady called Ashrafunnesa and compares the house to Indra's heaven. Its rooms, arches and stairs are now crumbling, with trees growing from the walls.
It is the closest old building to the town, and a pleasant short outing with the river beside it.
Getting there: Easy-bike from Jhenaidah town to Muraridaha, about 15 minutes.
Things to do
- Read the verse over the gate.
Good to know
- The building is fragile; stay out of the upper floors.
