The river jetty in the north of Cox's Bazar town, near the airport, from which every approved tourist ship to Saint Martin's leaves in season.

About

Since the Teknaf route was closed, the BIWTA jetty at Nuniarchhara, on the Bakkhali river on the northern edge of Cox's Bazar town, has been the only departure point for tourist ships to Saint Martin's. The crossing takes about 5 to 5½ hours each way.

Departures follow the tide; last season they left between about 7 and 10 am. Your ticket's QR code is checked when you board.

Getting there: A short CNG or auto-rickshaw ride from Kolatoli and the hotel zone, past the airport.

Good to know

  • Bring the printed ticket and your NID; a ticket without a valid QR code is not accepted.
