About

Tradition says a royal lady built it while Gaur was the capital. Its plan, a square domed prayer room with a vaulted veranda in front, follows mosques across the border in Gaur such as the Chamkati. Terracotta panels survive on the brick walls.

It stands among trees by the tank, away from the road, and sees few visitors; that quiet is the reason to come.

Getting there: By van from Sonamasjid, a few minutes.

Things to do

  • Look for the terracotta on the walls.

Good to know

  • Combine with Darasbari on one van ride.
