About
The inscription over the door dates it to the reign of Muhammad Shah, and names the builder as a trader from the west. It is a compact oblong with three domes, octagonal corner towers, arched doorways and the typical plaster panels of the late Mughal provincial style, restored by the Archaeology Department. A tank lies in front, the founder's tomb to one side.
It is a short CNG ride from the town centre and takes half an hour.
Getting there: CNG from the town, about 15 minutes toward the Sylhet road.
