About
The boat ride across the channel is part of the trip. On the far side a path leads into the mangroves, with breathing roots poking out of the mud and creeks running in from the river.
Trips leave from the Kuakata side in the morning and return by afternoon, depending on the tide. Bring water; there is little on the char.
Getting there: By boat from the Kuakata side; ask at the beach for the day's trips.
Things to do
- Walk the path into the mangroves at low tide.
Good to know
- Wear shoes you can get muddy and ask about life jackets.
