About
The zamindars of Tarash, whose estate lay in the Chalan Beel country, kept this house in the district town. Its front of tall columns under a pediment is the most striking colonial façade in Pabna.
The building is protected but mostly seen from outside; it takes a few minutes and sits close to the Jor Bangla temple.
Getting there: In the town centre, on the road to Sujanagar.
Things to do
- Photograph the columned front from across the road.
Good to know
- Morning light falls well on the façade.
