About
The temple, also known as the Gopinath temple, is one of the clearest examples of the Bengali double-hut form, copying in brick the curved thatched roofs of village houses. It stands in a narrow lane of the old town and is protected by the Department of Archaeology.
Much of the terracotta has worn away, but the shape alone is worth the short walk.
Getting there: Rickshaw to the old town of Pabna.
Things to do
- Look at the joined roofs from the corner of the lane.

- Walk on to Tarash Bhaban, a few minutes away.
