A crumbling zamindar estate in Shibalaya near the Jamuna, with mansions round a court, a bathing ghat and a Nabaratna temple.

About
Local history says the estate was founded by Panchanan Sen, who made his fortune in tobacco; the buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries. Two-storey mansions face a court and a pond, and the nine-spired temple is the tallest thing in the village.
Much of it is in ruins, which is part of its pull. Aricha ghat is close, so the two make a pair.
Getting there: Bus to Shibalaya or Aricha, then an auto to Teota.
