About
The name is said to come from the meeting of many rivers here, of which the Brahmaputra was the chief. The fort was one of Isa Khan's strongholds.
Nothing of the fort stands now. Beside its site are the Beboth Raja's dighi and the Sadi and Shah Mahmud mosques, which make the visit worthwhile.
Getting there: By road from Kishoreganj town to Pakundia, then about 8 km by CNG or easy-bike.
Things to do
- See the two old mosques and the dighi beside the fort site.
Good to know
- Ask villagers to show you the fort mound; it is easy to miss.
