An old temple of Gopinath at Gopinathpur in Akkelpur, held to be about five hundred years old, and a place of pilgrimage with a yearly fair.

The temple stands about a hundred metres from Gopinathpur bazar. Its story ties it to the line of the Vaishnava teacher Advaita of Shantipur.
It is a living temple; take off your shoes and follow the priests' wishes.
