The old house of the Naldanga zamindars, a colonial-era brick mansion with temples and ponds, now worn and quiet.

Like many zamindar houses in the north, Naldanga emptied after 1947 and has decayed since. The façade, some rooms and the temples still show the plaster work of their time. It is a short, peaceful stop for those who like old buildings.

Getting there: By CNG from Gaibandha town; ask locally for the zamindar bari at Naldanga.
