Laldia is a wide, quiet beach at the river mouth, with forest on one side and open water on the other. Both the sunrise and the sunset can be seen from here.

From Haringhata a walking path through the Laldia forest reaches the beach in about two hours, a good way to see both on one trip.

Getting there: Bus to Patharghata, then a motorbike to Laldia.
