About
Dwarkanath Tagore bought the estate in 1840, and Rabindranath came here to look after it, finding a quiet place to write. The two-storey building now holds his furniture, photographs and letters.
It is the reason most visitors come to Shahzadpur. Allow time for the grounds and the town around it.
Getting there: Bus or CNG from Hatikumrul to Shahzadpur town.
